I don't normally do this, but I felt compelled to in this case. I just finished reading "Create Don't Capture" last night; I received a copy of it when I attended FHL in September. And as a fellow creator, I know that the negative criticism can often far outweigh the positive responses and feedback, so (as I said) I really felt compelled to reach out to you personally and let you know what I thought of your book.
I have read SO MANY books on personal development, business growth and marketing, and especially content creation. And while most of them are mediocre and repeat the same familiar concepts all of us creators already inherently know, I just wanted to let you know that I found your book to be one of the best ones I have read to date. So much so, that I plan to read it again in about a month.
(and to give you some context: The only other books I've finished in the last 3 years and decided to read again almost immediately were "Essentialism," "Psychocybernetics," and "Personality Isn't Permanent.")
I think you have a brilliant book that can help so many current creators, would-be creators, and especially those whom you term "actors." I can see so clearly now how the past business coaches I've had steered me into the realm of acting; creating content because "it's just what you're supposed to do." It's only in the last 4 months on YouTube that I finally feel myself coming out of the fog and finding my voice as a creator and future influencer.
